We will characterize which xylem inhabiting bacteria are able to colonize and stablish in the foregut of X. fastidiosa insect vectors. We are testing four different host plants.

We will explore the natural resistance (non-hosts) or tolerance to X. fastidiosa in main forestry species and plants from the natural landscape of affected outbreaks areas in Spain.
